Hello, and thanks for coming to my blog. My name is Jon, and I live in Eastern Ontario, Canada.

This is the first time I have had my own Blog. I have participated in many forums. Please add comments and post your thoughts, ideas, and photographs.

I am interested in all types of machinery that have engines, the bigger-the better.

I have re-built/repaired a variety of engines – single cylinder gas, antique John Deere model “B” and “D” all-fuel tractors, and passenger car engines.

I enjoy operating heavy equipment and I work regualrily for a large auction company during their auction sales.

Recently I had the opportunity to run a 1960’s vintage railroad locomotive under the watchful eye of a licensed engineer!  What an experience!
